New assignment #4

Today I listened to a BBC podcast titled ,,David Baddiel Tries To Understand - Crying'' hosted by David Baddiel. The main question of the podcast was why do we cry when we're sad or feel any other strong emotion. As it turns out, there are 3 kinds of tears and we are the only animals that are able to produce the third kind - emotional tears. David Baddiel interviewed many highly educated people and listened to every theory that they had came up with. However, none of this theories was a 100 % known to be correct. There isn't a verified answer to why we really cry, but I did enjoy listening to all those theories.

Today I watched a video on a death of Princess Diana. The video indicates that her death was not an accident. It explains how Princess Diana was thought of as a rebel in the royal household and how she even had a falling out with Queen Elizabeth. Today I saw a video on how to get a job at Google. The video showed some questions you could possibly be asked at a Google interview. The questions were tottaly unpredictable and surprising. Some of them were: ,,How many times a day do a clock's hands overlap?'' or ,,How do you share a pirate treasure?''. As it turns out Google are not only looking for well educated people, they are also trying to find people who can think outside of the box. Do you think £600 per night at the Mandarin Oriental is a good value for money?

 £600 seems like quite an absurd price to pay for a night at a hotel. Many people work incredibly hard to make that amount of money. However at the same time there are people who wouldn't even hesitate before spending a night at the Mandarin Oriental for even more money. The salary that people earn all over the world is very diverse. A difference in worth of each currency all across the world is also quite significant. For example most of Americans wouldn't care much for a dollar when in some other country one dollar is worth quite a lot. Despite that, the fact that £600 per night at a hotel is quite much is undeniable.
