Reflection#5
Recently I heard that this year only about 5000 people got into med schools in Poland. That thought made me quite stressed. If out of 30 000 students writing the Matura Exam in field which could possibly help them to become a med student (Matura Exam in biology and chemistry), only 5000 people actually got in, what are the chances that I will make it? Naturally I am aware of the fact that not all these people have to apply to med schools, however the ods are still not in my favour. what happens to the popole who don't get in? Do they rewrite Matura Exam and try a year later or do they decide to change their major? And what if I don't get in? What am I going to do then? Is 16 the right age to think about all that anyways?
I guess you have to reflect on WHY you really want to study medicine. And if your plan A doesn't work out, maybe there is another profession that could fulfill your needs. But for the time being just do your best to make your plan A work.
OdpowiedzUsuńYour stress is completely normal and everyone at our age thinks about whether they will be able to get to university or not. So you have to work hard and believe that you will be able to achieve your goal :)
