Reflection#2

I went to an art exhibition the other day. I was surprised to see that the majority of people that I saw there were people that seemed to be rather elderly. That got me thinking about the cause of this occurrence. Is it becouse young people are not intrested in art anymore? Is it the internet that drives us away from getting out of our houses and comming into the world? I noticed that kids nowadays spend quite a big amount of their time glued to their phones. Why are we letting the internet or our phones enslave us? With ther rise of internet's popularity poeple have started to shut themselves off from the real world, from other humans. I think that we should make an effort to free ourselves from the bad influence that modern tehnology has on us, and try to experience the world around us. After all real life is not in the little screens of our phones.

    I'm sure for many people what happens on the Internet is as real as anything. The don't see the difference between the virtual and the real world. And this is scary.

    I also think that we spend too much time using phones and as someone who loves art I think it's really sad that fewer and fewer people devote their time to it.

Today I saw a video on how to get a job at Google. The video showed some questions you could possibly be asked at a Google interview. The questions were tottaly unpredictable and surprising. Some of them were: ,,How many times a day do a clock's hands overlap?'' or ,,How do you share a pirate treasure?''. As it turns out Google are not only looking for well educated people, they are also trying to find people who can think outside of the box. Do you think £600 per night at the Mandarin Oriental is a good value for money?

 £600 seems like quite an absurd price to pay for a night at a hotel. Many people work incredibly hard to make that amount of money. However at the same time there are people who wouldn't even hesitate before spending a night at the Mandarin Oriental for even more money. The salary that people earn all over the world is very diverse. A difference in worth of each currency all across the world is also quite significant. For example most of Americans wouldn't care much for a dollar when in some other country one dollar is worth quite a lot. Despite that, the fact that £600 per night at a hotel is quite much is undeniable.
