Is it possible that we will stop being a throwaway society?

Putting an end to being a throwaway society would be hard, but not impossible. People nowadays hardly ever think about the cosequences of living a not eco friendly life. We should try to raise awarness around the topic of protecting our environment and the threats that come with living a wasteful lifestyle. In order to do that we could organise events promoting environment friendly activities such as recycling. We should try to be better to our surrounding. With hard work and patience we might actually see positive changes in the society. After all, Earth is our only home and it should be crucial for us to protect it.

    I agree that all what's possible should be done to protect the environment. I quite like the closing sentence about Earth being our only home.

Today I saw a video on how to get a job at Google. The video showed some questions you could possibly be asked at a Google interview. The questions were tottaly unpredictable and surprising. Some of them were: ,,How many times a day do a clock's hands overlap?'' or ,,How do you share a pirate treasure?''. As it turns out Google are not only looking for well educated people, they are also trying to find people who can think outside of the box. Do you think £600 per night at the Mandarin Oriental is a good value for money?

 £600 seems like quite an absurd price to pay for a night at a hotel. Many people work incredibly hard to make that amount of money. However at the same time there are people who wouldn't even hesitate before spending a night at the Mandarin Oriental for even more money. The salary that people earn all over the world is very diverse. A difference in worth of each currency all across the world is also quite significant. For example most of Americans wouldn't care much for a dollar when in some other country one dollar is worth quite a lot. Despite that, the fact that £600 per night at a hotel is quite much is undeniable.
